Founding partner, Callison & Hanna, Indigenous Advocate
Cynthia Callison is a member of the Tseskiye Clan in the Tahltan Nation whose traditional territory is the Stikine River Watershed in north-western British Columbia. Since 1996, she has practised law as a partner in Callison & Hanna and has acted as general counsel for Indigenous Peoples governments and their organizations in a wide range of legal matters including complex negotiations for land and resource development. She recently completed a master’s degree in constitutional law at Osgoode Hall Law School. She has written and reviewed Aboriginal law publications and has been a presenter and panellist at Aboriginal law conferences and forums. She enjoys working with and representing Indigenous Peoples to ensure a successful future for their communities.
