In early October we moved our head office to a larger space in downtown Vancouver – offices that provide improved workspace for our team as well as room for Work Learn students, fellows and visiting delegations and project teams. In addition, there is room to accommodate projected organizational growth as we take on more projects to realize our mission.
Our new central location brings us closer to off-campus partners and our colleagues at the SFU Vancouver Campus. As an added bonus, it has allowed more of us to get out of cars and onto transit, foot or bicycles.
We will continue to actively participate on the UBC campus as part of the new School of Public Policy and Global Issues, through our academic partnerships and project work and with our CIRDI Seminar Series and other up-coming events.
We thank UBC – in particular the Office of the Provost & Vice-President Academic, Office of VP Research & Innovation, and the Faculty of Arts for providing the space for CIRDI to grow. Thanks also to UBC Project Services, and each of UBC IT, Arts IT and Applied Science IT for critical support in facilitating an easy move.
Our new coordinates are:
1606-1166 Alberni Street
Vancouver, BC V6E 3Z3
Central Phone: 604.827.2648
Our individual phone numbers and email addresses remain the same.
We acknowledge that CIRDI’s new offices are situated on the traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
