The Program Manager will develop and manage a portfolio of projects and activities related to the Institute’s program areas. This will include: developing, designing and implementing work plans for the delivery of the projects; acting as main point of contact for teams of technical experts, monitoring and overseeing reporting processes developing tools and processes for new business opportunities including developing administrative procedures to ensure deliverables are met.
CIRDI is currently delivering a large five year governance project funded by Global Affairs Canada in Ethiopia. The Program Manager will be responsible for supporting CIRDI’s field office in Addis Ababa. Responsibilities will include drafting of the Project Implementation Plan, Annual workplans and progress reports, drafting Terms of Reference, sourcing technical expertise to support implementation of the Project’s activities and contributing to the Project’s cross cutting thematic areas.
Web & Digital Communication Designer
We are currently recruiting for a web and digital communications designer. This position is responsible for designing and overseeing the development of web sites and digital and graphical communications materials using various technologies including content management systems. The web and digital communication designer develops graphics/user interfaces, web pages and templates based on client requirements, programs application modules and tests, documents and maintains various sites and systems. This position is responsible for the overall web, mobile and graphical presence of the Canadian International Resource Development Institute (CIRDI) and the technical administration of its content management systems.
